DMAT Reunion =)

Dear Diary,

Today went for DMAT class reunion at SP Vanda Room. =) Its been quite a while since I last saw many of my coursemates =))

hee.. Today was really a fun and memoriable day! Catching up with my fellow friends and lecturers! =)) Hope we'll have more of these gatherings next time!! But sad cos' not a lot came.. only half the 1st batch of students came back.. =(

Today the 2nd batch of DMAT students really put up a great show!! *applause*

Especially the song that they re-arranged and dedicated to Jimmy who is leaving SP to SMU..

The "Yesterday" song was indeed touching and well arranged!! =))

I can say that their batch looks very united and fun to be with!!
But of course, 1st batch is still the best!! hahaha!! =P

Hazel and I were asked to perform on stage =) I was kinda nervous cos' didnt really touch on my dizi for quite some time.. Actually wanted to play an improvised piece with 3 songs in it.. but only 2mins.. but then.. despite practicing the whole of yesterday and today.. I just couldnt seem to memorise the notes! Argh! so frustrated and irritated.. keep playing the wrong notes and forgetting them..

in the end..at the last min, I decided to change song.. lol..

even though the sound check I played part of my improvised piece.. I didnt play that on the actual perf...

Erica interviewed me and I said about my competition thingy.. so ended up playing part of my competition piece.. lol..

I was quite nervous.. don't know why.. maybe cos' i was not so prepared and seeing all my lecturers and even directors of the school all seated and watching me.. I was more afraid..

But luckily managed to play the song through.. =)
