off to taiwan! ^^

Dear Diary,

Ohayo Gozaimasu! Its just a few more hours before i'm flying off. Will be MIA for 8 days.. sure will miss SG.. haix.. and i'm still sick now.. hopefully, I will recover when I reached Taiwan.. bcos' i wanna enjoy!!

Anyway, wanted to blog last night but packed my luggage till like 2am -.-"

Yea.. yesterday was enjoyable too! Went to meet Raymond at around 345pm to go IKEA buy his stuffs.. Tampines de IKEA is so messy man.. I would prefer the one at Queenstown de.. Anyway.. it was fun shopping around.. he bought a mirror and a DIY TV table.. lol.. then we ate at IKEA.. the food's quite affordable.. cos ate till very full and food's not that bad.. Then after that took a cab back to his place to put down the things.. and met XinXian downstairs to meet Angie, Ben, Jason, MingKwang, James, JunJie and Yik Loong at HG Mall de Ajisen.. but before that we went to buy my stuffs for today's trip =P

Yeah.. went to celebrate Yap Ben's belated Birthday.. hehe.. initially we wanted to give him a surprise by telling him that all of us needed to go home early after the dinner.. then the rest of us meet up to get the cake for him and surprise him at his front door.. but then, Yap Ben's friend saw us at HG Mall and smsed him that he saw many of us there and Yap Ben found out our real motive.. =(

haha..

Overall, it was still fun! We went to his house sung B'day song, cut and ate the cake.. it was oishi desu!! His Husky dog's so kawaii la!! =)))


haix.. I really hate it when ppl don't get recognised for their contributions to any events or groups esp. the organisers or committee members. If in a committee, no matter how small a post or how insignificant a post, it still has its own importance and value.. if not, why have it in the first place? The worst thing to happen is to leave the comm member out or not to inform him/her to attend important meetings/occasions. It is like not respecting him/her for what he/she has contributed in any matter/manner in the club/group.

By using the sentence 'your task/role/job is insignificant or not important' is a total bullshit! It is OK and super NOT 'bullshit', IF that comm member/leader DID NOT do anything AT ALL to help or organise events..INSTEAD just took the post for show/credits. It is WORST if the comm member is informed of the meeting but MIA without any notice beforehand.

Sometimes I find that this world is unfair... bcos' people don't usually see the good things we did or the good side of us, but the bad things instead.

However, I suppose if we do not feel any belonging in the club/group, its no use staying on... because the reason for staying on is to have a belonging in the group and by belonging, it means to be recognised for any contributions we made in the group, be it attending pracs, organising events, helping to arrange the room, and etc..and also to be informed of any events or pracs, even if we are a normal member... the basic form of respect..

ok.. this is one thing I'm just voicing out.. Comments are appreciated..haha.. =D Bcos' I may be wrong too.. =P

anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH, RAIN!! I LOVE YOU!! whAhAHa!! Please tahan till at least tomorrow, SUN morning.. and especially tonight.. bcos' SRSCO Alumni is having a BBQ tonight. It's a pity that I cannot attend. =( But really hope it would be an enjoyable event for everybody!!

May everyone stay safe and healthy when i'm away.. may I be safe and healthy too.. Taiwan, pls don't be chaotic due to the election!
