Taiwan Trip =) Part 1

Dear Diary,

Hi!! I'm finally back from taiwan.. with a cold!! -.-"

Have been sick for about 2 weeks le.. just went to see doc yesterday after I reached home from Taiwan. Having sore throat, running nose, bad cough and fever now.. haix..
The Taiwan trip was super fun!! But tiring cos every morning we need to wake up at 6am.. then reached hotel at around 11pm plus coming to 12am.. Then by the time we bathed and sorted out stuffs, already 1am plus..

I have so many things to tell.. cos I really learnt a lot from the trip!! very meaningful stuffs.. but just too many to write.. so i'll just summarise ba..

Day 1
I cried on the plane when it was about to land.. cos of the pressure.. and bcos' of my flu.. the air stewardess said that it usually happens to ppl who have flu or ear probs. This was my 2nd time experiencing this super painful torture.. my ear drums were like bursting.. and cracking.. then my skull was very painful too.. couldnt tahan.. stood up in the middle of the landing to find the air stewardess for help.. then they were kind enough to give me ear plugs and chewing gums to lessen the pressure and pain. My sis and everyone around me didnt bother when I cried.. haix.. so sad la.. they didnt know how I felt.. thought I made a big fuss out of a small problem.. then the plane food sucked.. no nice movies.. but surprisingly, they had a lot of R(A) movies like the lust caution.. and they didnt cut out the censored parts.. the sex scene.. -.-" I didnt watch la.. just accidentally saw a women in front of me watching.. then at that time it was showing the sex scene.. -.- OMG... *nose bleed*

After we reached Taipei around 6pm, my ears were blocked!!! I was so scared that I had become deaf!! Then we went to the Breeze Taipei Station to have our dinner.. the weather was cold.. around 18degrees.. wind was strong.. very cooling! cos' the air was cold.. unlike Singapore's. Then really had a bad experience on the 1st day cos the whole journey was messed up.. we were not told clearly where to meet after dinner.. and they gave us very long hours to eat.. like 1hr30mins.. then the place nothing to shop cos at night le.. all the shops were closed.. Then saw Cong Qing.. he looked dao and moody..haha.. After that we headed to our hotel.. luckily didnt let us down.. our room was great!!



Day 2

I didnt have a good sleep last night.. kept waking up to drink warm water, hoping my flu and ear bloackage would heal, but it didnt. So around 5am.. i cried again.. asked my sis to acc me to see doc.. but she scolded me siao and said I exaggerated over small matter.. haix.. so no choice.. I drank herbal tea.. then slept for a while..

Luckily when I woke up, my ears were cleared.. esp after I yawned.. when it cleared.. it was so painful man!!
Then we went to the National Palace Museum.. Learnt many interesting stuffs.. like for eg, if siblings quarrel, put a mirror behind a flower pot and everything will be in peace.. cos in chinese we call it 'Pin2 Jing4'.

Then went to Chiufen.. bought many stuffs.. =)

Then Cong Qing joined us.. Group B bus.. then took photos with him.. Then he explained to us on the bus why he looked moody.. cos he didnt have a lot of sleep and was rushing a lot of work for his 933 station project. Inside the bus, he even told us jokes and sang for us. A funny and interesting guy!! =)



Last night slept pretty well.. the floor was hard.. ear was blocked again.. and started to cough.. /.\ went for breakfast in the morning and the food sucked..

Then we headed to the Martyr's Shrine to see the guards marching ceremony..Then we went to see flowers at a garden.. like botanic gardens.. then we went to a place to hear about tian lu and bi xie.. some auspicious ornaments. very interesting and fascinating!! and the speaker said about Singapore.. was really quite true!! he says that the yr Singapore was borned was the yr of snake 1965.. and that tiger and snake clashes together.. so have u all wondered.. why every tiger year, something bad would happen to Singapore.. like the year 1974 when British gave up Singapore, and 1986 when the hotel collapsed and many ppl died.. and 1998 when Singapore experienced the economy crisis..
Then we went to the Five Cent Drift Wood Restaurant.. the restaurant was very weird.. but great!!

Then we travelled from Taipei to Kaohsiung. the journey was like 4hrs+.. on the way watched movie... and sung KTV.. I was sick so only sang 1 song.. haix.. sadded.. cos no voice.. was coughing like mad.. our tour guide was very good at singing!! haha.. Geoffrey and Sally both couples also sang very well!! =))

Then we visited the Dream Mall, Love River and Leo Ho Night Market.. then went to our hotel..



I shall continue more about my trip tmr.. very sleepy liao.. due to the medication.. anyway, I was already missing Singapore in Day 3 le.. mainly cos I was ill.. and not recovering.. the weather there was cold.. and didnt have enough sleep.. But the good thing about this trip was that we get to stay in different hotels each day.. so very interesting.. but tiring la.. cos the journey was long and very fixed to the schedule.. so we had to rush and follow our schedule so as not to delay the whole group.. stressed man!
